Great Tips for Home Decor Lighting
Posted on February 6th, 2010 No commentsAny good interior designer will tell you to start with a central point of your room, around which your decorative objects may flow. Once you have selected your focus, find pictures in magazines and decorating books for inspiration.
We recommend you to visit this lighting company, they have a free guide with great resources. With a great selection of contemporary chandelier
choose one and follow these great tips to decorate the interior of your home successfully:Choose a base object of decoration: select an object of great impact as a starting point. This piece can be a floor cushion with a beautiful fabric, a poster or a painting, a floral arrangement, a vase, a rug or anything that goes well with your style. This object will set the style, theme and tone you expect to create in space and help determine your overall combination of colors.
Illumination: The lighting of a space is as important as the colors you choose.
Ceiling light fixtures are in most cases the only design element you will add to the biggest open space you’re likely to ever come across in interior design, so think carefully how to utilize it.
Wall mounted lights can also completely transform a space as a piece of art by itself and also by giving other wall art and ornaments on shelves a new look. These are perfect for smaller spaces such as a hallway or staircase.
Table lamps, floor lamps and candles strategically placed in space can add warmth and interest where you need it most. Adding a new shade to a lamp also instantly changes the quality of light and the overall feel in the room.
Think about the effect you wish to achieve: crystal-accented light fixtures add sparkle, glamour and interesting plays of light and shadow. Murano and stained glass adds color and warmth. Brass, steel, wrought iron or copper can add anything from a classic to contemporary or modern to renaissance feel.
The fireplace: Yes, not everyone has one, but if you do, it is often the most important architectural element of a space and therefore the center point. Fireplace accessories including fireplace screens and tool sets come in a variety of shapes, sizes and themes to suit your taste.
Candles can make a unique design statement anywhere, but your fireplace is the perfect place to also use them – especially during summer. Add candles of different heights, colors and textures.
When decorating your mantel, bookcase or shelf, always do it with an asymmetrical arrangement of an odd number of decorative items like vases, in a range of scales and textures.
Renewing old furniture: Ready for a change? Place an interchangeable cover an old sofa or replace old sofa cushions and decorative throws.
The pillows can add a lot of fun to your space, the options are endless! Add a floral print for a country house feel, leather for Western, cabin or even medieval themes, or tapestry tassels for that classic look.
Two large decorative pillows can sometimes be more daring than several small pillows that can fill your space and distract from the overall appearance.
Decorate the walls: Pretend that your walls are a blank page, regardless of the color of paint. There are many items to decorate your walls, from paintings and posters to shelves, tapestries, sconces and boxes which make it difficult to know where to start. Remember to put your theme or style as the ordering principle.
Acrylic display shelves, highly fashionable posters, reinforce a modern style, while black and white pictures in wooden frames can create a sense of antiquity. To unify a group of pictures, frame them in similar frames.
Synchronize your wall art in relation to the size of the wall and furniture. The landscape paintings and posters with images of a scene open a small space and create “a window outside”, as do mirrors. Whereas modern art works well in wide open spaces and bring you “in”.
Simply use them as inspiration. Trust your instincts, taste and natural style. Choose a lighting lamps. Are you attracted to the clean lines and geometric shapes of modern minimalism? Or do you prefer a haven of bamboos, orchids and dark wood of quiet Asian Zen? Listen to what your heart says and follow your instincts!

Jet Powered Flight
Posted on February 6th, 2010 No commentsThe invention of jet propulsion was ideal for fighter aircraft. Although at first it reduced range and endurance and often increased the take-off run. The German Messerschmitt Me 262 and the British Gloster Meteor twin jets saw action in 1944, together with the tailless Me 163 rocket interceptor which sacrificed range and endurance for astounding climb and speed in defending local areas against heavy bombers.
Germany was far in front of other countries in another factor too: armament. A range of 30 mm (1 inch) cannon, radically new high-speed cannon with multiple-revolver chambers, very large recoilless guns, spin-stabilised air-to-air rockets fired in salvoes, and wire-guided air-to-air missiles were all under test before the Luftwaffe s defeat. They gradually inspired similar developments in other countries: one German gun, the Mauser MG 213, led to the American Pontiac M-39, the French DEFA, the Russian NR-30, the Swiss Oerlikon KCA, and the British Aden, all of which are still in use.
Many early jet fighters were fitted into more or less conventional airframes. The fighter often considered the ultimate achievement of the piston era, the long-range North American P-51 Mustang appeared both in a twinned double-fuselage form and, with few changes, as a US Navy jet.
But the US Air Force decided to wait a year until its makers could sweep back the wings and tail at 35 degrees, which German research had shown could lead to higher speed. The result was the F-86 Sabre, which in 1948 set a speed record at 1,080 km/h (671 mph) and outflew all other fighters. Later versions carried radar and rockets and reached 1,150 km/h (715 mph).
During the Korean War (1950-3) the F-86 met a previously unknown machine built in the Soviet Union, the somewhat lighter and simpler MiG-15, and although the MiG could climb higher and had heavy cannon, the Sabre’s skilled pilots and better equipment gave it the edge in combat.
North American’s next fighter was the F-100 Super Sabre, which exceeded the speed of sound in level flight. The MiG bureau built the twin jet MiG-19, which was even faster, and is still in wide use. The US Air Force ordered various all-weather interceptors with largely automatic radar and flight control systems so that, with guided missiles, they could intercept and destroy enemy aircraft without the pilot ever seeing them.
The British ordered a jet-fighter flying-boat, but discovered that this way of doing business without airfields resulted in~yielded~produced an inferior fighter. The Americans suffered similar problems with a ‘hydroski’ fighter, which could dive faster than sound, but took off and landed on retractable water skis.
Two even stranger fighters were designed around powerful turboprop engines and, standing on their tails, screwed themselves vertically into the air (they were intended to operate from the confined decks of warships or merchant vessels). Britain built high-altitude supersonic fighters with ‘mixed power’ from a turbojet and a rocket. In 1957 the British Minister of Defence suggested there would soon be no more manned fighters at all, only missiles. The Americans stuck to fighters, but made them very large and armed them with missiles, but no gun.
Today the wheel has turned full circle. In the past 10 to 20 years there has been a powerful trend~wish to get back to the ‘eyeball-to-eyeball’ type of confrontation of the man in the Sopwith Camel. The pre-eminent Western fighter, the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom, was rebuilt with an internal gun, a rapid-fire 20 mm (0.79 in) cannon with six barrels firing up to 6,000 rds/ min, and a slatted wing to pull tighter turns in combat.
New small fighters appeared, such as the General Dynamics F-16, which, although bigger and heavier than any single-engined fighters of World War II, are nevertheless small and light by comparison with such impressive machines as the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, and MiG-25 Foxbat, The RAF’s next interceptor, the ADV (Air-Defence Version) of the Panavia Tornado, is a careful midway compromise, smaller than the three monsters just listed, but with two engines, long range, powerful radar, and extremely effective Skyflash missiles.
Modern interceptors defend vast blocks of airspace up to 160 km (100 miles) in radius, with powerful radar able to look down at the surrounding land and water and spot low-flying intruders trying to slip through the defences unnoticed. Their task is eased by the presence of special surveillance, early-warning, and AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) aircraft, with enormous radars and sophisticated command and control systems to manage all a nation’s defences in the most efficient way.
There is no better feeling than being in the cockpit during your jet fighter flight. Jet fighter flights and jet fighter joy flights are the ultimate gift giving and receiving experience that will be remembered forever. Your jet fighter pilot experience is available in Melbourne, Cairns and Townsville. Visit flyingwarbirds.com.au for more details.

WD Gann Analysis and Forex Trader Software
Posted on February 6th, 2010 No commentsSoftware designed for online forex trading from desktop computers has exploded public participation in the foreign exchange or forex market. The leading forex trader software is Metatrader which is offered free by nearly all forex brokers to their customers. Metatrader is a professional strength forex trading platform on its own but it has been made into something very special by the development of expert advisors or EA which can be easily integrated by users into the typical platform. An EA is a small program that buys and sells certain currency pairs automatically, with no human intervention, according to the parameters programmed into the EA. As can be expected, some expert advisors are better than others. The demand for these advisors is high and competition among developers has produced an explosion of Metatrader forex advisors with creative names like online foreign currency exchange and even more creative sales pitches.
WD Gann is controversial and influential to the present day. Some significant Wall Street Insiders, men whose situations give them credibility, insist that markets are able to turn on a dime because other Insiders “know” the geometry of the markets without the need to convey the simply calculated Gann angles and price levels that reset trends. Square of Nine conventions are well beyond the mainstream of traditional technical analysis. WD Gann spent 10 years exploring ancient and modern knowledge about geometry and how things work before he made his first trades. The Gann hexagon, the natural squares calculator, and the square of 144 are reflections of Gann’s earliest work on stock market geometric techniques. You must spend the time to explore the dynamics of the gann square. We believe that the core principles underlying the Square of Nine are the geometric foundation for all Gann’s work and that without understanding the market’s geometric model WD Gann is forever an enigma.
To win at online stock trading you need an edge…the ability to see that one more bit of market information that nobody else is seeing. Legendary traders like WD Gann, RN Elliott and JM Hurst had an edge. They had a huge edge. Why? Because they took the unbeaten path. Because while everybody in the crowd was asking the same questions and looking for the same answers under the same streetlight they created their own way of seeing how financial markets really work. If you are searching for ideas to achieve financial freedom perhaps the answers are in hurst trading.

Caller ID is an fantastic way to hide your phone number.
Posted on February 6th, 2010 No commentsA long time ago you were able to call someone without having to debate about whether or not if the person on the other line would pick up.
If you did not pick up then you would be left to wonder who just called you. You just had to sit and wait for them to either call back or never know who called at all. This was a wall that would be over come with time and technology.
Soon, the caller id would be born.
Caller Identification is done by one service talking to another. The information from whoever is calling is then matched with a big phone book which then tells your phone who is calling.
This was snazzy for awhile and then came VOIP. Voice Over Internet Protocol. This technology allows for someone to call over the world wide web using the same data transfer as a pc would but instead of sending emails etc…You are now sending your voice over the internet.
You ask yourself what does this have to do with caller id?
It has a lot to do with it
A great deal of people these days do not answer their phone when they do not know the phone number.
This is almost always due to the fact that person on the other end is looking at the phone caller identification and making a instant decision on whether or not to pick up to your call.
But due to VOIP having the ability to hide your caller identification it then become a dominate player in the faking of your caller identification.
This software gives you more of a chance to get someone to pick up the phone by making it look like someone else is calling. So you can be anyone you want to be, even the CNN News.
This advantage has it’s ups and downs and should not be misused.
